Ministries

Grow In Community

Life comes with challenges, and the journey is better together. When you join an adult small group at World Outreach Church, you’ll find yourself amongst a community of believers who can strengthen your faith and help you navigate life from a Christ-centered perspective. You’ll discover when we encourage one another, we find courage for ourselves. We offer three types of small groups to help you find your place in community:

  1.  Community Groups meet in homes throughout Middle Tennessee and focus on Bible study, prayer, and shared life.
  2. On-Campus Groups meet on-site at World Outreach Church and offer a consistent space to grow in faith with others in similar life stages.
  3. Support Groups are specialty small groups that offer Christ-centered care for specific life challenges such as: Re:generation (recovery and healing), Divorce Care, Grief Share, Parents of Addicted Loved Ones, and Widow’s Support Fellowship.

No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you—and a place to find hope, healing, and encouragement.

Young Families

Parents of children birth through 5th grade

We are called to shape culture through our lives and our families. Parenting offers a unique opportunity to impact generations for God’s glory. Scripture tells us that children are a gift from the Lord, a true reward from Him (Psalm 127:3). It also reminds us that we are meant to live in community with other believers—supporting, encouraging, and building one another up. At World Outreach Church, our Young Families Ministry believes we are better, stronger, and more effective when we live and serve together as the body of Christ. Our goal is to walk alongside you in the wonderful yet challenging journey of parenting children from birth through fifth grade—offering both practical resources and spiritual encouragement to help your family follow Jesus. Our Young Families Ministry provides a variety of events and gatherings beyond typical small groups, creating opportunities for families to come together, form friendships, and be strengthened by one another’s faith. Together, we are raising the next generation of Christ-followers who will lead with faith in their homes and communities. Come join us!

New Beginnings

For those who are new to World Outreach Church, New Beginnings provides an opportunity to make connections with staff members, hear the history of World Outreach Church, and learn more about our mission to help people become more fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We’ll also provide answers to frequently asked questions and give you information to help you find your place at the church. New Beginnings takes place quarterly in New Harvest Sanctuary immediately after Sunday service, and a boxed lunch is provided for everyone in attendance.

The next New Beginnings meeting date will be posted on our events page.

Pastoral Care

Life can be challenging, and our Pastoral Care team offers spiritual encouragement, help, and guidance when needed. Our goal is to provide the next step forward for each individual, helping them to deepen their faith and grow their trust in God. We use Scripture to provide biblical truths for comfort, guidance, and wisdom in times of need. If you need professional counseling, we can point you toward several Christian counselors in our area.

If you would like to talk with someone on our Pastoral Care team, please call the church at 615-896-4515 or contact us. We’ll have a member of our team reach out to you.
