Supporting Ministries & Organizations

People matter to God, and they matter to us. Because of your generosity, we had the privilege of supporting many ministries and organizations, taking our ministry beyond our church walls in very practical ways. In addition to the partial list of the organizations below, we supported individuals and organizations in Ukraine, Africa, Kenya, Israel, and other nations around the globe.

Baptism

Over the last year, we baptized over 700 people, helping them publicly declare that Jesus is Lord of their lives.

During our Spring and Fall Festivals in 2023, we invited the community to join us in our outdoor sanctuary, where special guest artists led us in worship during service and post-service concerts. The festivals offered an on-ramp, helping people who might be hesitant to come to a traditional church service become familiar with God’s Truth and our church campus. Each festival service also offered baptism opportunities, dozens of food trucks, and a wide variety of activities for the children, in addition to our regular children’s classes. We hosted food drives during the festivals, and because of your generosity we were able to give thousands of pounds of food to a local food bank, supporting people in need across our community.

During the Christmas season, we opened our doors for many events centered on celebrating Jesus’ birth. We hosted a special Sunday event for young children that featured live animals, crafts, activities, and a performance of Rudolph Jr. by our Teen Choir. We also offered special musical productions including a performance of Away in a Mango by our Kids Choir, our World Outreach Worship (WOW) team’s Christmas Spectacular featuring Anne Wilson, and a Christmas concert with The Katinas. During the weeks leading up to Christmas, the congregation faithfully donated thousands of toys, which were distributed to children across Middle Tennessee. From Thanksgiving week through the end of January, thousands of people skated for free on our outdoor ice skating rink.

Sanctuary of Scripture: The Walk Way

As we continue to expand, our mission remains the same: To help people become more fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. More people knowing Jesus and following Him will change the course of our nation and our world.

In 2023, the Lord invited our church community to step toward something new. We launched a capital campaign, “The Sanctuary of Scripture: The Walk Way” to raise $30 million dollars to build an extension of our existing facilities and to provide more intentional ways to serve our congregation—locally and around the world. By commitment weekend, we received commitments exceeding $33 million. By the end of 2023, over $13 million in gifts had already come in toward this expansion.

Equipping The Next Generation

We are committed to engaging every age group with the good news of Jesus as Lord and equipping them to serve and praise the Lord.

Because of the time and effort you invest, we are able to minister to over 1,000 children and students each week, as a matter of routine. Many weeks, it’s twice that number. We do this because we recognize the children are not the future of the church—they are the church of today. We intentionally invest in children’s lives through classes from birth through 6th grade and ministries for junior high, high school, and college-aged students. Last year, we helped nearly 300 children apply their skills and talents to honor the Lord through Kids Choir and Teen Choir. Our summer camps and retreats allow time for in-depth teaching and fun experiences that build faith and friendships. Last year we were able to serve 1,040 children through these events. With your support we were able to not only serve our local children through camps, but also sponsor camps for children in Israel . Through all we do with our Next Generation Ministry, our prayer is that every single child will have a revelation of Jesus that would shape their future.

Men's Event

In April of 2023, men from all walks of life made a promise to watch, stand firm in their faith, and be leaders in the community. We heard powerful battlefield stories of God’s hand at work from USMC Force Recon veteran Chad Robichaux, Air Force veteran Kevin Weaver, and JSOC Combat Interpreter & Facilitator Azizullah Aziz. It was a free, non-ticketed event, and you can watch all the guest speaker stories here:

Strengthening The Local Church

You are connecting God’s people to resources that contribute
to spiritual growth.

WEEKLY OPPORTUNITIES
We offer three worship services every week, each with a different sermon. Those who need prayer can visit our Prayer Center, available 45 minutes before and after each service. Our intercessory prayer group also meets every weekday morning.

PROVIDING RESOURCES
Our Next Chapter Bookstore offers trustworthy biblical resources, merchandise, and gifts for adults and children. From time to time, the church also distributes free resources. In 2023, we gave away 6,873 books to help men, women, and children grow in their faith. During our Christmas Eve services, 12,000 people received an ornament from Israel as a gift. In the weeks leading up to Easter, we gave away 5,000 mugs to invite community members to Easter services.

CREATING COMMUNITY
One of the most effective ways we live out our mission of creating more fully devoted followers of Christ is through our 230+ small groups, which meet a wide variety of interests and needs. Groups meet on-campus and in homes in Murfreesboro, the Nashville area, and across the nation.

6,873 BOOKS GIVEN AWAY:

  • 2,873 Lessons From Peter books (valued at $56,752.95)
  • 4,000 General ministry books (Children’s Ministry, Student Ministry, Prayer Center, Family Ministry, and general pastoral care.)

Special Guests

The Lord brought some remarkable people to our “little country church” in 2023! Each person has unique gifts and callings on their lives, but they all have one thing in common: They are willing to use their skills, talents, abilities, and platforms to honor Jesus in their sphere of influence.

Media Ministry

Because of your generosity, two million people watch our messages each week through our media ministry, Allen Jackson Ministries, which broadcasts to a dozen television networks and over 1,000 radio stations across the nation. We were also able to reach 260 million Arabic-speaking homes and subscribers in the Middle East, North Africa, Australia, and New Zealand through Kingdom Satellite. Our online presence continues to grow, with over 91,900 followers on our YouTube channels, 47,900 followers on our Instagram pages, and 592,000 followers on our Facebook pages.

Pastors Conferences

The Church across our nation desperately needs truth. It needs to be reminded of who God is and the important assignment He has given us. In 2023, we had the opportunity to encourage and equip God’s people by visiting seven different cities (we’ve traveled to over 20 cities since 2022). Pastor Allen spoke to thousands of pastors at events in California, New York, Georgia, Tennessee, and Washington D.C. While traveling, we were intentional about meeting with people who connect with World Outreach Church and Allen Jackson Ministries through our livestream, broadcasts, and online. It was a blessing to hear their stories and to encourage them to take the next step forward in their faith.
