“Outdated” for Young Adults

Outdated by Jonathan Pokluda challenges young adults to trade the world’s approach to dating for a biblical vision of relationships built on purpose, commitment, and faithfulness.

This six-week class is designed for single adults ages 25–35 who want to grow in their understanding of relationships, prepare for healthy dating, and pursue love in a way that honors God. Together, we will explore topics such as identity, intentional dating, purity, communication, commitment, and God’s design for relationships.

Whether you are actively dating, hoping to date, or seeking to grow spiritually while waiting, this class will provide practical wisdom and biblical guidance for navigating relationships in a culture that often points in a different direction.

100 Bible Verses That Made America

Join us for this 10-week course, 100 Bible Verses That Made America. Throughout our nation’s history, God’s Word has shaped the hearts of individuals, influenced our founding principles, and inspired generations to pursue faith, freedom, justice, and truth. This study explores 100 key Bible verses that have impacted America’s story and examines their lasting influence on our culture, government, and spiritual heritage.

In the course’s required reading and video sessions, you’ll discover the historical events, influential leaders, and biblical truths that helped shape our nation while gaining a deeper understanding of Scripture and its relevance today. Whether you’re interested in American history, biblical literacy, or strengthening your faith, this study will encourage you to see how God’s Word continues to provide wisdom and hope for every generation.

Class will be held each Tuesday at 6:00 PM beginning September 1. Materials for this course can be purchased in the Next Chapter Bookstore before or after a service.

Toddlerhood Transitions

Toddlerhood Transition is a 5-week class for soon-to-be parents of children 18 to 36 months old. Books can be purchased for $18 per copy in Next Chapter once you have registered. The Toddlerhood Transition series focuses on the brief but significant window of growth between 18 and 36 months of age. This course aims to equip parents with useful knowledge that will encourage confidence and competency. Sessions are held every Monday evening at 6:30PM starting September 14.

Childcare is available for birth through 5th grade in the Nursery.

Preparation for Parenting

Preparation for Parenting is a 4-week class for expectant parents and married couples looking to start a family. The class offers an immensely sensible approach to newborn care to develop confidence and competency as parents. Books can be purchased for $20 per copy in Next Chapter once you have registered. Sessions are held every Sunday at 11:15AM starting October 18.

Grandparenting Matters

Grandparenting Matters is a 9-week class beginning at 11:15 AM on Sunday, September 27. The class is designed to encourage and equip Christian grandparents by teaching Biblical principles that will inspire you to leave a legacy of faith to your grandchildren. Session includes practical demonstrations to help Godly principles stick with you. Participate with and learn from other grandparents. Resources for the class can be purchased for $13 in the Next Chapter bookstore.

Biblical Citizenship

Join us for this 5-week course, Biblical Citizenship. Throughout our history, American pastors and churches have played a vital role in the establishment and preservation of religious and civil liberty. Being “salt and light” requires knowledge of the culture we are attempting to preserve and influence as we fulfill the Great Commission and “make disciples of all nations.”

Biblical Citizenship builds a knowledge of Biblical principles and how to apply them to the world around us. This course is specifically designed for you to be the catalyst for restoring Biblical values in your City, State, and Nation! Class will be held each Monday at 6:30PM beginning October 19.

Love and Respect

This is a 7-week study designed to answer three questions through video, reflection, devotionals and discussion. Each of the 7 sessions includes a video to watch and questions to answer both as a group and for personal reflection. Additionally, there is a short devotional for each person to complete between small group sessions. This study can also be done as a couple, as an individual who is married or even someone who is single and dating or not in a relationship. Classes will be held each Monday at 6:30PM beginning September 28.

Parents of Estranged Children

Join us for this 6-week course, Resolve Conflict and Find Peace and Hope with Adult Children. Every parent desires a healthy, loving relationship with their adult children, yet many families experience tension, misunderstandings, unmet expectations, or broken communication. Whether you’re navigating conflict, distance, or simply seeking to strengthen your relationship, this study offers practical, biblically grounded guidance to help you move forward with wisdom, grace, and hope.

Throughout this course, you’ll discover healthy communication strategies, learn how to establish appropriate boundaries, adjust expectations, and pursue reconciliation while trusting God to work in your family. Through biblical truth, practical conversations, and encouragement from others walking a similar journey, you’ll be equipped to build stronger relationships with your adult children and find renewed peace and hope.
