2024 Impact Report

God is Moving in Murfreesboro—and beyond!

In 2024, God invited us to step forward to bring His Truth into this season of chaos and confusion, and we have continued to say “yes” to this assignment. It’s been an amazing year together, and it’s only possible because of your generosity. Below, you’ll find some highlights from the past year.

Investing in the Next Generation

We believe every child is a gift from God with a unique calling on their life. From birth through college, we provide an environment where children and students can thrive as they form a personal relationship with Jesus. In 2024, we ministered to over 4,500 children and students, thanks to the dedication of over 900 volunteers who sacrificially invested their time, talents, and care in these young people.

Campus Expansion Project

In 2023, our church community took a significant step forward in faith by pledging over $30 million dollars for a campus expansion project. This money will be used to build an extension on our building and to provide more intentional ways to serve our congregation—both locally and around the world. The Lord has honored these expressions of generosity, and as of December 31, 2024, the gifts we have received toward this new project align with the faithfulness expressed in those pledges.

Our expansion plans include a learning gallery, a children’s area that includes a splash pad, an outdoor amphitheater, a studio space for our growing media needs, improved roads, and additional parking. In 2024, we took our first step forward on this project as we began constructing a new road that connects Barfield Road to our existing entrance on River Rock Boulevard. This is all meets our goal of helping people become more fully devoted followers of Jesus while also serving our community.

Growing Our Faith

Baptizing Believer after Believer

During our Easter and Spring Festivals, we baptized 471 people, helping them declare Jesus as Lord of their lives!

Church-Wide Bible Studies

In 2024, we created three new small group Bible studies that feature a short video from Pastor Allen and an accompanying study guide. The studies are available for free online, and we had over 800 people in 46 states and 11 nations register to lead a group for Determined Faith, Step Out of the Crowd, and Jesus, His Followers & Politics.

Fast & Pray for our Nation

Just before the 2024 election, we hosted a 48-hour prayer watch to ask for God’s mercy and favor on us and our nation. From Saturday, November 2, to Monday, November 4, thousands gathered on campus and on our livestream to pray for our leaders and our nation, and petitioned for a heart change in ourselves and the American people.

Building Community In Small Groups

One of the most effective ways we live out our mission of creating more fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ is through our 250+ small groups, which gather on campus and in homes in Middle Tennessee and across the nation. Our small groups meet a wide variety of interests and needs. Hear from Janet Baldwin, who attends Mostly Moms:

New Resources

In 2024, we published three new books by Pastor Allen: Be Not Afraid, Be Not Discouraged; Jesus, His Followers & Politics; and Set Apart for His Purposes. We also created t-shirts, hats, mugs, blankets, and other merchandise to help spread salt and light across the community.

Miss Betty’s Legacy of Prayer

World Outreach Church began as a Bible study in the home of Pastor Allen’s parents, George and Betty Jackson. They devoted their lives to telling others about Jesus, and one of the reasons for the growth of our church is because of their faithful and consistent outreach and prayers. On July 16, 2024, Miss Betty graduated to Heaven, and many graciously donated to the Miss Betty Jackson Memorial Fund to establish prayer gardens, extending her legacy of prayer. Thank you for honoring her life and faithfulness.

Blessing The Community

WOC welcomes the community to our campus during our Spring and Fall Festivals and throughout the Christmas season.

Spring and Fall Festivals

This year’s festivals included worship led by special guest artists For King and Country, CeCe Winans, Matthew West, Shane & Shane, Matt Maher, Michael W. Smith, and others. We also hosted dozens of food trucks at each festival, a family fun area, water baptisms, and more. Beyond the fact that these festivals are exciting, they also provide an entry point into church for someone who may be hesitant to attend a traditional church service. Our Easter Festival included record attendance, with more than 36,000 people coming to campus and 95 people being baptized over the Easter weekend.

To prepare for our building addition, we moved our 2024 Fall Festival to the parking lots on the east side of the church, bringing the community together in a new way. We also incorporated a learning series into the Fall Festival with exhibits throughout the building, a special production piece of Fiddler on the Roof, an early premiere of the movie Bonhoeffer, additional movie nights, and a worship weekend from our Next Generation students!

Celebrating Christmas

Over the Christmas season, we welcomed families to skate in our free outdoor ice-skating rink, sip hot cocoa, and enjoy performances from the WOC kids choir, WOC teen choir, and special guests including The Katinas, Mike Weaver, and STIKYARD. We also went to the movies as a church, booking out all of the AMC theaters in Murfreesboro so we could invite our friends and families to watch The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

Serving The Local Community & Beyond

People matter to God, and they matter to us. WOC supports many individuals, community organizations and non-profits each year, helping them provide healthcare, education, food, pregnancy resources, Christmas toys, family support, childcare, and more to people across Middle Tennessee. Because of your generosity, we had the privilege of taking God’s hope beyond the church walls by supporting organizations including:

Taking God’s Truth to the World

WE BROADCAST SERMONS EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK

Through our media ministry, Allen Jackson Ministries, we broadcast Pastor Allen’s sermons to millions of people across the world each week on radio, television, and the internet. This ministry continues to grow and thrive, helping us reach more and more people who are hungry for God’s Truth. Every weekend, people join us for church services on our livestream, extending our worship to every state and many countries, averaging 8,831 people per week.

Yes, Jesus Is Lord!

When two young men were mocked for shouting “Jesus is Lord” at a presidential campaign rally, we decided to take our “Jesus Is Lord” magnets to every city and highway across our nation. We ended up sending 16,200 magnets to people in all fifty states!

DELIVERING HOPE INTERNATIONALLY

In addition to helping local organizations, World Outreach Church also supports a variety of international initiatives in Ukraine, Africa, Kenya, Israel, and other nations around the globe. In 2024, we helped purchase an ambulance for an area of Israel that previously had no medical services. We gave hundreds of displaced Israelis a day of respite through a program that takes them on daytrips to national parks and other peaceful places. We also helped bring the Gospel to children in Israel through a Christian camp ministry. In Ukraine, we sent assistance to Christian ministries and churches that provide hope and provisions to people in the war-torn region. Our media ministry broadcasts Pastor Allen’s sermons in Arabic to over 260 million households in the Middle East through Kingdom Satellite—and in English to nations across the world over the internet. These are just a few of the ways we’ve been able to deliver God’s hope and truth to people around the world, thanks to your generous support.
