World Outreach Church welcomes back Pastor Rob McCoy on July 29!

What is the Christian Church doing in South Korea, and why does their government want to silence them—to the point of imprisoning pastors? On Wednesday, July 29, World Outreach Church will welcome back Pastor Rob McCoy during our 6:30pm service, along with Pastor Son Hyun-bo from Busan, South Korea.

Pastor McCoy is the cofounder of Turning Point USA Faith, Pastor Emeritus of Godspeak Calvary Chapel where he was senior pastor for over 25 years, and former mayor of Thousand Oaks, California. During this session, he will speak to our congregation about the religious persecution faced by Christ-followers in South Korea and its rich Christian heritage, which is directly connected to America and the work of Christian missionaries. South Korea is one of the wealthiest nations in the world, and it is now rapidly falling to communism.

He will be accompanied by Pastor Son, who spent five months in a South Korean prison for supporting a conservative political candidate. Pastor Son met Charlie Kirk four days before Kirk was assassinated, and Pastor McCoy will share the promise Kirk made to Pastor Son during that meeting. Pastor Son will have an opportunity to share a few words, as well.
