2nd & 3rd Grade

Early Elementary is designed specifically to support the spiritual growth of children in 2nd and 3rd grades. During this important stage, we strive to help these children grow in their faith by sharing strong biblical truths and model Christ-like character. We are committed to fostering a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop socially and emotionally, as well as spiritually. Through meaningful interactions and shared experiences, we support the formation of lasting friendships and a strong sense of community. The Early Elementary wing is located in the easternmost part of the building, off the Atrium of Genesis Sanctuary.

Students within Early Elementary will:

• Develop an understanding of who God is and how much He loves us.
• Develop age-appropriate Bible skills and a love for God’s Word.
• Develop a desire to know His will and plan for our lives.
• Develop a personal prayer life. Opportunities for prayer are woven throughout each service.
• Develop more fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Additionally, our curriculum includes a special “Missions Moment” that introduces children to real missionaries around the world and the communities they serve, fostering a heart for global missions.
