Early Childhood
Curriculum
We use an age-appropriate curriculum called Lil’K. This curriculum is comprised of several five-week-long units that teach the timeless message of truth in God’s Word. During the five-week series, the same memory verse will be used. Each week there will be a different Bible story and application point(s). The children learn fundamentals through this curriculum with hands-on activities about God’s people, which encourage them to love, be a friend, share, pray, and follow God.
Activities
Every week your child will be sent home with a “map book”—a take-home activity book that reinforces the weekly lesson. This will review what was taught and is designed to help your child apply the main points of the lesson personally. The “map book” is a great tool to encourage families to engage with their child(ren) and foster early spiritual development.
Snacks & Allergies
The snack provided each week is Goldfish, or Cheerios for those with allergies. If your child has an allergy, you may send in a nut-free snack. For the safety of all children, please note that our areas are nut-free. There are occasions when Early Childhood may provide a special snack, but that will be posted on the door to give notice.
